Situation - As the senior marketing manager for Stratos Global Marketing, our client Flagship Biosciences has engaged my team to share their news on products, partnerships, and people.

Action -I put together a list of questions to determine what key information should be shared. I interview the C-suite (usually the CEO) and any additional subject matter experts to augment the questionnaire. I then draft the release including suggested quotes, request feedback, incorporate any edits, and send out 'over the wire,' using PRWeb for its cost-effectiveness for the client. I also personally contact key members of local and national industry (pharmaceutical and clinical) press to share the news.

Result - With a very small budget, I can gain global news coverage:

  • in local industry association newsletters with over 5K subscribers
  • on sites and in other publications with 7-12M potential viewers
  • within key, influential industry coverage
